Pros and cons of Hand-Picked Atlanta app for iPhone and iPad

Hand-Picked Atlanta app good for

This app is just amazing ! The only thing you gotta do is to go to a restaurant in the scoutmob, you discover new places and whether you like it or not (you have 50% off so even if its not that great, you dont lose much) you come back!! Discovered so many great places in NYC thanks to that. Never go somewhere without my Scoutmob !!
I love bargains so ScoutMob is everything I was looking for. I havent been using it that long, but Im very pleased.
I have been using this app for about two years and have found great eats for less around town. Its an especially useful app if you eat out a lot, want to try a new eatery w/guests or by yourself, want to minimize risk on trying a new place or want to support small businesses. The downside is they dont have a lock on major markets like Chicago or Los Angeles --just Atlanta. Perhaps theyll scout more deals in all major cities soon. Ive not used this app for retail shopping primarily b/c Im a loyalty shopper. Otherwise, their restaurant recommendations are pretty good! I saw a complaint about spam-like emails, but Im certain its because the user has not adjusted their communications settings. I only receive email reminders when deals to places in my "stash" are about to expire. My sole complaint is that it took more than four months to eliminate duplicate neighborhood listings. This after I brought the error to the attention of two different staffers on two different occasions. So, if you have a suggestion or major complaint, dont expect a speedy response or resolution.
Im not in Atlanta so why is my app updating to be the Atlanta version of Scoutmob?
The app is great for the most part. Its easy to use, smooth transitions from screens, no crashing, and everything is intuitive. My only complaint so far is that I my card information gets stored automatically with no other option to remove it. The only way to remove the info is by replacing it with another payment method or contacting customer service. In this day where hacking is a huge issue, it seems absurd to force a user to store their information(come on at least give them the option) Other than that its great.
Been using this for years now. No complaints! Saves a bunch of money for a family like mine. Only wish it was in more cities..

Some bad moments

the app starts with an annoing step by step tutorial, you cant do anything without login with facebook first or register, uninstalled it after 10 seconds
Please make a version that has proper resolution and size on the 6s Plus.
A great app until the latest update caused the location services to break! Please fix!
Wont let you connect unless you sign up. If you sign up with Facebook, it wont let you connect unless you give permission for them to post on your Facebook page.
The reviewers who said that you have to sign up to do anything in the app are right, but its still a good app that works properly. As long as you sign up with an email address you wont have the trouble with scoutmob wanting to post for you on Facebook. Ive saved a lot of money and discovered a lot of new places with scoutmob. I really like it!
I live in an expensive urban area & this app is stellar at providing great food discounts.
